The inaugural Bubbles and Butterflies Ladies Luncheon has triumphantly raised over $38,000 net for DEBRA Australia programs.

Hosted by DEBRA Australia ambassador and board member Deanna Pope, the event captured the vibrant spirit of the Spring Racing Carnival at Caulfield Racecourse. Attendees showcased their finest Spring Carnival fashions, with a captivating ‘Fashions on the Field’ parade as a highlight of the day.

Many remarkable moments unfolded, including the enchanting butterfly tent, which offered a poignant sensory experience, emphasising the fragility of skin for those living with epidermolysis bullosa (EB). Long-time DEBRA Australia supporters, the Screamin’ Eagles, filled the dance floor with exhilarating music. Special guests Natalie Young, Larysa Williams, and Annabel Neasham inspired all with their uplifting stories of courage and hope.

A heartfelt thanks goes to:

  • Grace Ramage for her role as MC and all of our inspiring speakers on the day
  • Our incredible sponsors: Pope Packaging, MRC Foundation, and Allweatherblinds
  • All our raffle and auction prize donors
  • All the stunning guests who made the day memorable.

Thank you for supporting DEBRA Australia and its vital programs for families living with EB, contributing to the event’s remarkable success.

Stay tuned for details on the inspiring 2025 event, featuring Melbourne Cup-winning jockey and now trainer, Michelle Payne.
