I have EB simplex, as do 3 of my 4 children, my father, uncle and a cousin. Luckily, none of my 4 beautiful granddaughters are showing any signs of EB. I’ve been involved with DEBRA SA since its formation and also now Debra Australia, although I intend stepping down at the end of my term to allow someone else to be involved in this wonderful charity. I’m currently working as a Practice nurse in the Barossa and with my knowledge of EB I have developed a passion for wound care. I enjoy riding my Harley with my partner Simon and we are currently in the process of designing a home to build in the Adelaide hills on our 63 acre block.
