Dr Bronwyn Sacks, MBBS FRACP FAChPM MBioethics AFRACMA
Dr Bronwyn Sacks has a background as a paediatric palliative care specialist, with an interest in clinical ethics and medical administration & management. She holds postgraduate qualifications in Master of Bioethics, and Associate Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators. Bronwyn holds positions as a medical specialist at Very Special Kids Hospice, and the Victorian Paediatric Palliative Care Program based at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. She has contributed to research, advocacy and policy in various aspects of paediatric palliative care, and held senior management roles in the sector. Bronwyn draws on expertise and relationships developed over the course of her career, as well as extensive experience in the challenging healthcare journey of children with severe epidermolysis bullosa and their families. Bronwyn was motivated to join the DEBRA board in order to support the essential contribution DEBRA makes to those living with and affected by epidermolysis bullosa.
